By: t-marco May 30th, 2011

This June 9th event in New York City, Motorola and Sprint will take the wraps off of a new device. This device looks to be similar to AT&T’s Atrix 4G but it will be called Photon 4G.

Phandroid was reporting that Motorola and Sprint were working together on a handset with specifications similar to the Atrix 4G. According to their sources, the “MB855″ Photon 4G will offer consumers a dual-core Tegra 2 platform with a qHD screen in the range of 4.3 inches, but with support for Sprint 4G network. Other details could include a 5-megapixel camera, a front-facing camera for video calls, and an HDMI port.

Stay tuned for more information.

I would definiteley take a look at this phone if it didn’t have a locked bootloader. But with the evo3d coming out with a possibility of it having an unlocked bootloader right out of the box I will stick with htc and their htc sense. Motorola keeps shooting themselves in the leg.
