Samsung Within aka Galaxy S II Sprint Version passed FCC

By: t-marco July 27th, 2011

The successor to the popular Samsung Galaxy S, the Galaxy S II  has hit the FCC and will be  hitting Sprint soon. The leaked model number SPH-D710 boasts WiMAX connectivity and the drawings line up with the leaked Samsung Within pictures we saw from earlier this month.

The Sprint bound Samsung Galaxy S II will have both CDMA and WiMAX radios and matches the previous leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy S II aka Galaxy Within, an image that showed the Samsung Galaxy S II for Sprint with an 8 megapixel rear camera, along with word that the device will possibly run Android 2.3.4.

Based on all of the previews I’ve seen to this point, there is no physical keyboard.

Will it still have the sammy dual core or the tegras? Also this seems to suggest a 4.5″ screen vs the existing 4.3″. At least there is no keyboard like the leaked ATT version.
