Samsung Flaw To Bypass Lock Screen

By: Juan March 4th, 2013

Here is an example of another Samsung/Android flaw that allows someone to see your homescreen or even to run an app while the phone is locked.  Is this a Samsung problem?  Is it an Android issue?  Well, that’s yet to be seen but here is the video nonetheless.

A minor, yet notable flaw. Probably has to do with some sort of Caching that needs to be killed when switching screens. I guess you should keep your financial apps off the home-screen for now.

Android 4.2 update fixes this security issue with an encryption function. You cannot even open Google without a pass code then. But beware, it is irreversible. I recommend setting your auto lock to lock key only.
