The NFL being replaced by college football is not much of a fair tradeoff. If I wanted to watch peewee football, I’d go to a local high school. This feature from Sprint just became totally worthless.

Yea, but thank the NFL for it anti competition attitude. Imagine what type of growth they would have if they got rid of all the exclusive deals.

Plus I now can get to NFL.com’s full site from my phone. First time since being with sprint. I love it.

You should write to sprint, tell them to raise their prices to that of verizon so we can have NFL network again!

Honestly, aside from scores I never much used the NFL network. A lot of my friends loved showing off their live radio shows until I just tethered my phone to my laptop, pulled up justin and watched the damn thing live. Then they too stopped using their nfl network LOL

I don’t like football. What I wish is that any exclusive applications I don’t like could be erased from my phone by my decision to clear up memory/space. I have a stupid football (and sprint tv) link which I’ve never used and can not delete and the Samsung Moment keeps opening it into memory to eat at my ram and slowing my phone down. Thanks Sprint!!!

Hey I like NFL and College and am kind of excited about the new app. But hey I know we can’t please everyone, there is always going to be people out there who complain no matter what. Ungreatful….. I have even seen complaints about the EVO 4G…. I mean seriously….

  9. thaprinze on March 26th, 2010 12:52 pm

Right when we get 4G, and the ability to stream without constant hiccups! Ugh…

One solution is partner up with a DirectTV subscriber and use their Superfan package.

So tried to download the update and got the message “thanks for your interest in this application, however it is not available for your device.”

It’s bad enough that Sprint’s 3G is slower than molasses. Now they change NFL Mobile Live to Sprint Football Live? I had NFL Mobile because I don’t give a rat’s rear end about college football! And the new format sucks beyond belief. The menu is garbage and the font is so small you can’t read it. Oh, well, guess I can delete the app and open some memory up while I wait for my contract to expire so I can change services.

    Just sayin’

  20. G R on September 13th, 2010 7:16 pm

well that just SUCKS. I just got the EVO 4G and the best part was hearing the radio broadcast of the games and it’s now gone. Why even bother having Sprint Football Live,it’s just crap.

  21. jamar on September 25th, 2010 2:46 pm

I don’t understand why sprint would get rid of nfl mobile live. The best thing about the app was live football on nfl network, also live audio. Sprint football mobile can’t do either. Thanks a lot sprint you suck I’m now thinking about switching to verizon.

  22. Stephanie on September 3rd, 2011 5:15 pm

Well, i just became a Sprint customer so I didn’t have the pleasure of the NFL package…BUT I LOVE SPRINT LIVE–guess that could be because Im a BIG COLLEGE FOOTBALL FAN….

  23. Marti Mc on September 25th, 2011 12:09 pm

WTF Sprint!!!! No one wants College football, NFL is what everyone wants to keep up with when they are on the go!!! That was one of the reasons I went to Sprint over AT&T. I won’t go to Verizon cuz their family data plan sucks. I want live NFL football coverage not college! & I don’t want stats I want live watching coverage!!!! This really blows!!!

  24. flastnoles on October 1st, 2011 1:04 pm

Quit complaining… and for the guy that complains about not being able to remove this app, jus root your phone and you can delete everything you don’t want. That’s what I did!

  25. flastnoles on October 1st, 2011 1:06 pm

Also there is a great app on the market that will allow you to watch any live stream of any sport! Its awesome from football to soccer to ufc. You name it they have it… is called sport tv and its free!

  26. Tom on November 13th, 2011 10:04 pm

THIS APP IS NOT LIVE!! IF I WANTED TO SEE SCORES AND STATS THEN I WOULD DOWNLOAD AN APP FOR THAT.

SPRINT YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER. THIS APP SEEMS LIKE BAIT AND SWITCH. AND YOU GUYS BUILT THE APP ORIGINALLY AND LET VERIZON TAKE THE DAMN THING.

I GUESS MONEY TALKS. I AM HEADED TO VERIZON.

    THANKS FOR NOTHING SPRINT………..

  27. Tom on November 13th, 2011 10:06 pm

HEY SPRINT, HERE IS AN IDEA, WHY DON’T YOU ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO DOWNLOAD THE APP AND BILL SPRINT CUSTOMERS FOR IT.
