Thumbs up Real PictureMail/MMS for PPC-6700 HERE!

Ok, this came from http://www.pdaphonehome.com, but in case you guys haven't seen it, I'm reposting it here. However, as a disclaimer, in no way will I take credit for finding this gem that I know we have all been waiting for. So without further ado, download and install the attached file on your PPC-6700. I installed mine on the miniSD, but you can install it where you prefer. Then follow the instructions below and enjoy...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI
change the key, EnableServerEdit, from 0 to 1
settings used on server config:
Server Name: sprintpcs
gateway: left blank
port number: 80
server address: http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms
Connect via: The Internet
Sending size limitation: 350k
wap: wap 2.0

(Signed_MMS3.0.6.22_Apache_VZW_26Sep05.zip)

Edit: SprintUsers.com will not allow me to upload the file because it exceeds the maximum 2 MB limit imposed. This file is 2.03 MB. Someone PM me and let me know where I can e-mail the file so that you can host it via a link in this thread.

yes, it is quite remarkable how simple this is. I have had this running flawlweely for a few days. One thing to note, it is only for outgoing MMS, incoming still sends a text link. But it is flawless in the outgoing regards...

I have mine installed to the miniSD and it works perfectly. Just make sure to follow the prompts to soft reset right after installation. Then make sure to change the registry settings and the configuration of MMS. You can configure your MMS settings by going to Start -> Programs -> Messaging. It will be right there along with your SMS, E-mail, and Outlook in its own section called, MMS.

well I ended up doing a hard reset last night, Becuase I had no clue where my storage space went. After that i synced, put my ringers back on and what little documents I had on and wala 27mb storage free now. I wonder what was eating it up. When i put this back on it still did the same thing. I checked for it to go on the card, and said succesfull but there was about 3mb missing on my main memory after that. I guess its no big deal now.

What does this do? Does it allow pushing of MM content?

OK, I think I'm missing something. How do I actually go about installing these files?

Copy them over to the 6700 (using Activesync->Explore, or via MiniSD card).
Double click on the PDA to run the install.
Download PHM Regedit to change the registry setting so the server can be pointed to Sprint instead of Verizon.
