Removing an esn from sprints database
I'm trying to use a sprint phone with Venture Mobile and was told that the esn for the phone was (or wasn't, I don't think the service rep knew what he was talking about) in Sprints PLBL Database so I couldn't use it. Does anyone know what this means and/or what I can do about it?

yeah, the phone has the sprint logo on it. I currently have an I330 that is also a sprint phone (branded) and I am using it with Venture Mobile. If this phone was once in sprints esn database and now works with Venture, why could the N300 not be set up to do the same?

Phones that are really old are removed from Sprint database I believe.

This is probably correct, but it still doesn't account for my situation since the I330 is a newer model phone than the N300.

isn't the n200 a 2G phone? A friend emailed sprint asking if he could activate an n200 on sprint now and he was told yes in his reply. Maybe a confused rep? I thought sprint was ONLY activating GPS enabled phones now.

My problem is not that Sprint won't activate the N300. My problem is that Venture Mobile (a sprint reseller) won't activate it for me. Does anyone know what a PLBL database is? The esn for the N300 is apparently not in Sprints PLBL Database. The esn for the I330 (also sprint branded) IS in the PLBL database, so I can use that, but don't want to. Sprint has the N300 esn somewhere in a database because when I called to get the MSL Unlock code, they knew what phone I was talking about. Why couldn't they just put it in the correct database?
