Sanyo PM-3100

Seems no one has started a thread on the new Sanyo PM-3100. With the MM-9000 and MM-7500 I'm sure most Sanyo watchers won't be trading in their 7400s and 5600s for it but I might be able to get the girlfriend to switch from Cingular (and her horrific Motorola) with it.

Specs they gave us:

Basically the 2300s shell

bigger external display

vga camera

Speaker phone.

Vision (of course) (non-EV-DO)

Expected 1st quarter of 2006.

3 hours talk time, 12 days standby.

mirror on camera (no flash)

basically an 8200 with a black and white display from what I can tell.
(I'd rather just have the 8200 back...)

id rather not have an 8200 since they were CRAP! this sounds like to compete with the 820/740. is it going to replace the 2300?

The 3100 was brought up earlier but the person that started the thread refused to divulge any specs on the phone

that looks cool for a lower-end camera phone. I don't really mind the one-line outer LCD on the 2300 but always thought they should make it at least 2...well here we go. the speaker grill looks like a 7400's. my gf would like it too.

I'm sick of hearing the word device. It's almost as bad as hearing the word "swag"! It's not a device! It's A FRICKING PHONE, PEOPLE!
