I love my 4900!

As a 5 year customer of SprintPCS, I received a 150 dollar credit the other day towards a new Vision phone, to replace my Sanyo 5150. I decided to get the sanyo 4900, because I've become a big fan of Sanyo phones. I received it last night, and this phone has surpassed my expectations! Reading reviews here and other places, I thought it would be too big, but I don't see what the fuss is about, the size is just right. I was kind of scared that I would be dissapointed with the size of the screen, after becoming accustomed to the size of the 5150, but the extra clarity of this screen makes the small difference in LCD size worth it. I always knew that Sanyo phones were known to be exceptional in reception, but I didn't think it would make a difference since I already owned a Sanyo. Much to my surprise, the signal quality and call quality is much better, and I'm calling Bellsouth tonite to strip my landline service to just the barebones to service my dsl line. I'm going completely mobile, which I've wanted to do for a long time, and now I finally have phone that makes me comfident enough to do so. People can't believe I'm on a cell phone. Some people complain of the slowness of the phone in regards to Vision, it's not nearly that bad. I wanted Vision as a service to play with, send text messages, play games, etc. It does well enough at that for me, and it's unlimited. As far as setup for my new Vision plan, I called to activate my new phone, the rep set it up for me, and told me I would be able to surf in about 24 hours. I was able to access Vision in only 1 hour, and it's working fine. No screwups with my username either, as I had anticipated. It's only been a day, and I'm already attached to the phone. I initially planned to get the Samsung A500 in a couple of months, but I like this even better now that I have it. I definitely recommend this phone.
