PS3, TGS, and Metal Gear Solid 4

http://ps3.ign.com/articles/651/651347p1.html

Guns of the Patriots the new MGS title. Snakes much older, but the game looks awesome. Devil May Cry 4, and Vision Gran Turismo.. mmm only half a year left!

MGS4 is indeed going to be an awesome game. You should watch the official trailers on the internet. They are great. Some people claim that Snake's advanced age is due to the after effects that he's suffered from being cloned. I personally only think Snake looks older because of the moustache. Shave off the moustache, and you'd have a regular-looking Snake with grey hair, IMO.

That's an interesting theory, and one that I've heard before, but if you see the trailer, you will see that he calls in on the codec and says "This is Snake", and later on it is revealed that he is working with Otacon once again. If this was big Boss, in Otacon's time, Big Boss would be close to 90 years old, as in 1995 while Outer Heaven was taking place, Big Boss was in his late 60's.

This will be an interesting, discussion, I'm sure. Plus, it passes the time while I'm here at work and things are slow

I'm willing to subscribe to the idea that its the future, and its Solid. I can't get Konamis trailer to load.. server errors.

Here you go, buddy,

http://rapidshare.de/files/5231586/t..._wmr_.asf.html

Use that link and you should be able to download the trailer. Sit back, relax, and prepare to be amazed by MGS:4.

And yes, I'm thinking that this is taking place somewhere around 6-10 years after the Big Shell, which means Snake would be around 47, so his looks are actually realistic if that is the time frame....

Wow, thanks. Just got a chance to check that out.. simply amazing. That intro made it appear to be ran on a PS3, not just an animated video. If thats the case, the PS3 is living up to my expectations.. big time.
