bought 8300 and confused

What is a data cable? what can I do with it?
Where can I go to download ringtones and screen savers for free?
Is there any unique features in my 8300 that sets it apart from other phones.

A data cable is used for transfering data from your phone to your computer and vice versa. Some phones can use a data cable to tether to a laptop or PDA for internet access. The 8300 does not have that feature.

Ringers and images can be found here http://www.dbringers.info/ as well as many other sites on the net.

You can make your own stuff too. Check the FAQ here at Sprintusers for info on how to do that!

hi,

just got my mm8300--went looking for accessories-

-found something called ma800??

its the pc cable upload programing software thing that will plug into the place your battery charger goes, and the usb into your computer( says it will even be recharged/powered while you are hooked up to the computer.)

the software that--- ma800 thing--

well its like a desktop for the phone--supposedly allowing the creation of video/ photo/ ringtones.. and all kinds of data stuff--
I ordered it from-
-hang on one sec--let me look into my email--cant remember who its coming from--
===============================================

to find this on the site--you have to type within the search bx
usb cables--then you can find it--you wont get to it just looking around--i just went and looked again-

-and that was the only way I found it again--but many sites carry this--and you get just the cable--without the software--but what good is that--GRIN_--
** and the price is about the average cost that I found on this item.
I am just waiting for it to show up.
