Any possible workaround or hack for 8300 #777?
Man, I knew I shoulda checked this forum before recommending a buddy new to Sprint to get the 8300. He and I use our phones as modems all the time since we take a lot of road trips, and he's bumming about our recent discovery that the 8300 lacks DUN functionality. Does anyone know if there is a workaround for this? If not, are there any still-available Sanyo phones that support #777?

DUN is "Dial-Up Networking"
And like FloorMatt said above, #777 allows you to connect to Sprint's data network through your computer -- allowing you to use it like a data card... but going through your phone. |
