mini sd card stuck in my 5600
well my memory card is stuck in my 5600. i can still access everything on the card and save stuff on it, but it won't come out of my phone. i tried just pulling it out since popping it out the normal way doesn't work, but i didn't want to pull too hard and screw something up. any suggestions??

I wonder if a store would have the tools to handle this? That is all I can think of, other than a good pair of needle nose pliers (which may damage the slot or the card).

Not knowing how the springed locking mechanism works on the phone (and I suspect the little notches along the side of the card having something to do with it), I'd be reluctant to try any prying or pulling. You might be able to push down and wiggle the card around in the slot, with hopes of getting the locking mechanism to get unstuck. There's also contact cleaner that can be sprayed into the socket, but spraying that stuff into a working phone...
OK, so this was about as helpful as a right hand shoe for your left foot.... |
