ARe these phones still available thru sprint?? went to the store and didnt see one nor are they on the sprint site. I'm the the chicago market area. I want to get a new one

I am not sure that you will find one in a typical retail outlet. Perhaps some smaller Mom and Pop stores.

Have you tried ebay or online retailers?

I just went to Fry's Electronic's last week and they had new in box Vm4500s. Actually they had a lot of old phones new. Even had a lot of 7200s! I'm in california though so I'm not sure if they have em' where you live. You should check.
