sanyo mm5600 front screen cracked :(

I just bought a sprint 5600 few weeks ago and already have a crack on the front of the phone. I was at work and I fell and landed on it between me and the ground. I cracked the front plastic peice that covers the little front LCD screen and was wondering if there is a web site that sells the normal OEM replacement part that I would need to fix it. Anyone have any suggestions? I looks as if you dont even have to replace the whole front cover just the plactic insert that has the sprint logo and speaker phone lable on it.

I remember when I had my VM4500 on my Belt Clip....I was at a Convention for work and going between other tables to get to mine. I bumped the front of my Phone on the corner of a table. Put a dent in the speaker part of the phone which caused the top peice to flare out a bit....Brought it back to the store and they had it sent to Sprint or whatever...I forgot. Got the phone back repaired and walked out the door with $94.00 less out of my wallet. I didn't mind because It was my fault but Jeez... Spendy! Sad thing was the phone was only a month old. Just to kind of give you a Idea how much I spent to have it fixed.

Yea, thats what I don't want....100 bucks for a $2 part that takes 2 mins to change. I have insurance on the phone but I dont want to turn it in for a crack that I only notice when I look at the caller ID on the front. http://www.367net.com/mobile_phone_r...ir%20tools.asp I found this place here but I dont think they sell single users...more like repair shops.

if not you'll have to use your insurance. sanyo does not authorize any Sprint Store Techs to service this phone..yet, so you will find no parts at a store. The only other way would be do strip down another 5600

Do the flace plates the sell on the internet have the center plastic peice that covers the front lcd screen? I cant tell from the pictures on them, it looks as if its open and you would have to find that peice somewhere else. I have the insurance plan on it, but I hate to use it for a month old phone just for a cosmetic annoyance

Well... Then it should be covered by the ESRP in some other way.
