Question PC SYNC Sanyo VI-2300

I recently purchased a cable and software for my Sanyo vi-2300, because I no longer have internet on my phone to be able to download pictures and audio from, and the software is not capable of transfering the appropriate sized pictures or any ringtones that arent midis. I dont know where I can go to have the approptiate program to enable this transfer. Does anybody know of a site that would have supported software or a downloadable program, so that I can transfer ringtones and pictures to my phone? I would really appreciate it greatly. Thx.

Did you ever figure this out? I have the same question, only I haven't bought the cable yet.

Basically I just got this phone, and we have free web service for a month, but after that it expires and I'd rather not pay extra for it. All I really want is to be able to dl ringtones and backgrounds. I noticed the PC sync thing but the sprint website doesn't seem to explain it. Can anyone tell me how exactly that works? where do you get the cable, how much doe sit cost, where do you find pictures and ringtones that you can download in that format, what software do you need? etc. Thanks so much.

PS. I have a mac (OS 10.2) so if anyone knows anything about software compatieble wiht that, that would be really helpful. But even if you only know about PCs, please answer. Thanks!
