Tropical Storm Allison.........we didn't get as much wind.....but we got the water.

It rained non-stop for weeks......here's an image to show you how bad it was.

That's not a bridge over some river or bayou.......there's a freeway under that water. (US 59)

Here's an example without water (when that area was under construction)

Opps I meant thunderstorms. I like to watch the lightnings. There are plenty enough when there is a thunderstorm in IL the Chicago area. I would like to be in a lightning storm though.

we had a flood here, and the water was up like that to both the bridges that connected one 1/2 the town to the other 1/2 of it. it flooded out the wood yard too, and there were logs floating down the river....people could touch the logs going by from the bridges.... it was awesome...there was a pond in the middle of the town that flooded right up to the apt buildings next to the park.....don't have a scanner to show those pics....but i had it with the water coming up to my apt, and then going past my apt (i ended up having to take a boat out of the apt) we are right by the bay of fundy (the tidal bore...seems to be a place that most ppl know about)

We get dozens of tornadoes every year. Even though the thought of a tornado over my head scares me, I love to chase 'em down.

yea alot of streets are out.... segments of Miami Gardens Drive and some other areas were just completely black... it was like driving into (or out of) a black hole.

My friend called me from down by UM and said that all of US1 (S. Dixie Hwy) was out, but ironically the Krispy Kreme Hot sign was still on....

FloorMatt.... those pics are crazy!!!!

Wow, I believe that probably more than half of your posts are either

A. Bush bashing (any Bush that is)
B. Useless airline facts that nobody cares about.

1. As if....I only post about Bush when you are in the room
2. Maybe facts that only inexperienced teenagers with no concepts of the world don't care about...heh

You *do* realize that I only posted that to get a rise out of you...it worked..imagine that...

No concept of the world. hmmm a political comment in a thread about a hurricane. I suppose the Governor of the Florida has something to do with storms, their impact, or ...anything at all under discussion here?
