Can this be fixed at all? Sanyo 8100

The phone works fine, it's a little loose but I can use it without problems. I didn't drop it, I don't even know when exactly it broke.

I think that the answer I'm going to get is no, it can't be fixed. Since here we have a lot people with deep knowledge about phones I thought I'd ask anyway.

Other than that the phone is great... but my warranty run out a long time ago, hehe... And I don't have insurance.

If I take it to a store, can it be repaired even if I have to pay for it? Considering it's an old model...

I just came back from the store.

They told me they can fix the phone.

They don't have the parts.

The person who I spoke to told me they should get the parts next week so I should go back then... it'll be $20.

Wow, I must gotten a bum 7400. Apparently everyone says it has the strongest hinge, but mine lasted 5 months. I didn't even know I could get it fixed at the Sprint Store! That's good to know for the future! I guess I can't really complain because the hinge break gave me opportunity (via Best Buy's replacement plan) to upgrade to a Treo 650. Man I love this thing!
