screen frequency???

my friend gave me the Halo PC game and i installed it. but when i try to play it, it says

SCREEN FREQUENCY OUT OF RANGE
TRY OTHER RESOLUTIONS

and i tried everything from changing resolutions to changing refresh rates and frequencies

WUT DO I DO??????/

Best bet is a Halo forum, mate.
So yeah, why not tell us your specs. nvidia 64mb means nothing...
In any event you might try and update drivers for your vid card and monitor.

I wouldn't mind telling you what is wrong, but your not really helping.

What model video card? What is the model of your monitor? What is your screen refresh rate set at?

BTW-- you may want to think about getting at least a gig of memory in there. 512mb anymore really is nothing, and you will see a huge peformance boost.
