Xbox360 Perfect Dark Specs are BS

During that xbox360 tv special they claimed that the Perfect Dark could play upto 70 players at once.

that is total Bull Dookey. The system is not powerful enough to do that. and even if it could, they would have to diminish the graphics quality and framerate. they claimed it was upto 70players because they just did calculations. they didnt actually try it out. Framerate would be sent into the gutter. Do yall remember the days of Sonic on the Genesis. When u would get hit and lose all yur coins?

So far, the Nintendo Revolution would have the best framerate available since they are not gonna be using High Def gaming. they are going to use a better engine and graphics cards to play better looking games but not high def. This makes the system able to maintain a constant and high framerate.

yes but there are so many developers that are afraid to work with nintendo, activision being one of them.

and pretty much all the revolution has going for it is ultimate backwards compatibility. seriously, when is nintendo going to make some games that dont involve mario, DK, star fox, kirby, samus aran, luigi, wario, etc... I mean how many people are really looking forward to Mario Kart 8 or Mario Party 22? Ahh who cares, Im buyin all three anyway. (revolution, 360, ps3)

i mean who seriously even wanted to believe that 70 ppl could play at once? not me for sure. Imagine the kind of connection speed you would have on xbox live with 70 different connections from 70 different players in 70 different places. It would suck. And microsoft knows that. They've only been hyping it up to get poeple to buy it. False advertising at its finest.

on the computer, it will still slow down the game but it will work. the console can do it too but it wil slow down also. but the computer can handle better because you can upgrade the memory. it also depends on the connection speed.

The only problem HD causes is more need for power. The new games are going require more and more power to run smoothly. Since the Revolutions games arent going to need THAT much more power, it will run much smoother.

My friends and I were addicted to Mario Party 6 for a month or two, then we realized that we were three grown men playing GameCube on a Friday night, instead of going out to the bars with our other buddies.

I actually enjoyed the Mario games. However, they simply stopped being creative. Look at the Gameboy, now they remake old games. I enjoyed Mario 64 - and Paper Mario, but after that, now all they do is remake games.

Nintendo 64 was a good system with good games.
Gamecube just seems horrible
Revolution shows no promise.

I have moved on - I like Halo 2 and I will be getting the new Xbox.

thats exactly what im talking about... redone games with no innovation. i would rather have microsoft lie to me about what a game can do than nintendo sell me the same games i was playin back in 88 AND charge me MORE for them. even though mario 64 was that fire, it can never compare to super mario world on snes. that new zeld looks hot but seriously, can nintendo please make an original game with an original character that DOESNT suck?

no starfox, the original on snes was not a multiplayer game. it was more of a flight game. you flew thru space and shot the bad guys in 3D. starfox on N64 was the same as the snes version except it sported enhanced graphics and had multiplayer that wasnt that hot. Then the gamecube had a couple incarnations of starfox one of them being starfox adventures and the other star fox assault. So star fox was not always a multiplayer. That just proves my point about how nintendo reuses games. Killer 7 is the only game that nintendo has made in awhile worth playing or even mentioning.

Geist, Pikimin, those are just two titles Nintendo has made for the GCN. Not to mention other games in Japan that the USA and Europe haven't heard about. There are even more out there...

Alot of people say Nintendo just reuses their characters. Which is true, alot of gaming companies do that. But they're always making new games.

As for the being able to play old games aspect of them. Nintendo is still trying to secure rights to do this from 3rd party companies. Though most likely their first party games will be free to download.

Same goes for their online gaming. First party games are most likely free to play online. 3rd party = up to the 3rd party company.

Oh and Capcom made Killer 7. Not Nintendo.
