I had checked into the same thing at a couple of local Sprint stores. Each person told me that firefighters are covered under the "Amerinet" discount at 21%. I just activated an account and am still waiting to see how it works out.

They did not ask for anything when I inquired, but at most you may need an ID or badge...not likely though.

I had called about a year ago asking about a firefighter discount, and was told that there are none. Called back a few months ago, and now I get a 15% Public Safety Employee discount. I like that 21% discount though. Hmm, not sure if I should even call. I'm actually get 20% now. A 5% loyalty and the 15% Public Safety.

Anyone get that 21% and keep their 5% loyalty? My bill is over $200 a month, so every little bit would help

I signed up at www.Policeandfirephones.com, 22% firefighter discount and police officer discount. If you're already a Sprint customer there is a section that gives you the code to get it added to you account. Hope that helps

Tried it and it works. If you're in the Public Safety community its good to have especially since Sprint took all the perks away when you renew. CS rep I talked to confirmed that family members with their own lines can use this as well.

Glad it worked, haven't tried it with my family members not on my share plan, good to know. Also a friend of mine who was with Verizon able to sign right up and get the 22% discount & extra $50 rebate (and he is not a Firefighter or Police officer). They only make you prove it I guess if your already a Sprint customer.
