Samsung will be supplying the DRAM chips, as they have in the PSP.

Yeah, Samsung does good chips. It's ashame their phones and mp3 players suck so much.

Teraflop
A teraflop is a measure of a computer's speed and can be expressed as:

A trillion floating point operations per second
10 to the 12th power floating-point operations per second
2 to the 40th power flops

Today's fastest parallel computing operations are capable of teraflop speeds. Scientists have begun to envision computers operating at petaflop speeds.

lol they finally changed the look of the controller... In pics it looks big...I'm guessing in person it'll look a lot smaller and nicer.

What's funny about all of this is that SAMSUNG is actually a larger company than Sony is, for revenue

Corey, Samsung is the backbone for most everything YOU love. Your iPod, your PSP, your computer's internals, your televisions chips, the PS2, the PS3, and the list goes on.

I'm not seeing good feedback on the controller, myself. All I can say is that it must somehow be comfortable and produce an overall good experience. That's the only way Sony could get away with that thing. Based on what I'm seeing, I hope it can use the PS2's dual shockers, somehow.

There will probably be some 3rd Party company releasing a "multitap" type thing, or just a single adapter, that'll let you use the old controllers with the new PS3. I seriously doubt Sony will be able to use DualShock, since even a vastly different form will probably incorporate some "illegal" tech, owing to that lawsuit.

I just can't see Sony paying Microsoft for every DualShock-capable controller and game sold.

Love the console, but afraid of that controller. If anyone tosses the controller in frustration, they better watch out - it might just boomerang right back at them.

Word is spreading that Sony's now reporting the controller as a "concept design." It's not final.
