I have a Samsung i500 and something weird happened. I accidentally unplugged the USB cable from the cradle while the phone was still in the cradle.
Now, every time I put the phone in the cradle, XP thinks I've added new hardware and wants me to reinstall the software. I can cancel it and the balloon popups that say "new hardware added" and "new hardware may not function correctly...". After I do that, everything works fine, but I have to do that each time. Do I have any alternatives to reinstalling the software (I've found that downloading Samsung's drivers doesn't work with my phone, I must use the original disk that came with the phone, then upgrade the Palm software). Anything I can do or must I reinstall? Thanks, Mark |
