PPC6601 aftermarket headset?

OK I am bummed the PPC6601 has a 2.5mm input instead of 3.5mm, but gotta live with it. Anyway I cannot stand the included headset, and for some reason my 3 ring Kyocera headset does not work.

Any aftermarket headsets that work, or any 3.5mm to 2.5mm 3 ring adapter out there?

Apparently it has a propietary pinout, jeez. Ordered a special adapter for it last night, lets you use any 2.5 or 3.5 headset with it.
