p1 or sprint store?
i'm going to order the treo 650, my question is who should i buy it from? i'm not concerned about free bluetooth headsets, or anything like that, but more so of customer service. I had numerous problems with my treo 600, and although i loved it, the number of times i had to have it repaired or replaced is ridiculous. i'm hoping that these issue will be resolved in this version of the treo. (might be a 600 dollar mistake, who know?s?? i hope not)
but getting back on track... since i bought my original treo at the sprint store, everytime i had an issue, they resolved it right there.and since it was under warranty, it was usually by issuing me a replacement (reconditioned) right then...therefore releaving me from the painstaking process of waiting for a replacement from lockline, as well as the 35 dollar deductible. if i purchase the 650 from p1, will i have the option of having it repaired, and/or replaced at the sprint store? or will all my dealings have to be with palmone? and if so, will the be reconditioned? or replacements? timeframe? thank you for all the input. -sequoia |

my question is specifically with customer service in regards to the purchase in the event of a under warranty repair... and which would be easier and provide the least amount of downtime. but i thank you for your quick, pointed, and almost arrogant response. anyone else have an answer? fair enough, i can admit when i'm wrong.
but has anyone come to the definitive answer weather the sprint store will handle p1 repairs or replacements in the event a repair is needed under warranty? as the last part of the closed thread from above was suggesting? no clones, sorry for my retort. your original post sounded impersonal and almost annoyed, and maybe it was. but nonetheless, you were right. |

If, you purchase from P1, you have to go through them to get a replacement.

According to one of the last posts in that other closed threads, it said that P1 did the 30 day warranty, but the rest go through Sprint. Also, what if you add Sprint's equipment replacement plan?
