PPC6601 Problems

Please list any obvious manufacturer defects here like:

Loud Beep while on a call that shows call still connected but the caller can't hear me

not

I can't figure out how to plug it in.

So far there are at least three people with this beep problem. Thanks

Loud beep here also, havent had it in a couple of days though. ALso cannot select url in SMS, you have to cut and paste into IE.

you dont have the problem with the beep or the sms or neither scenario???

I just got my 6601 and I'm having the same loud beeping issue as well. Any resolution yet?? Sprint was unable to help.

I have contacted both sprint and audivox, they haven't a clue. I am so ready to box this **** up and send it right back where it came from. It's answering all my data needs, however, this phone issue is so uncool!

I've had the phone for about 5 days. I did have an issue today, were the person I was calling could hear me, but I couldn't hear them. I also had an issue with the today screen only showing the date. Both issues were resolved with a soft reset. Other than that one incident, everything has been working just fine.

I still have to test the bluetooth, and my business conn. personal is working great.

Because I'm afraid we won't be able to use the 6601 as a wireless modem. Anybody know what's inside? (is it the sierra wireless card, and will te hitachi g1000 airprime drivers work for it?)
