3.5mm headset for PPC6601?

One of the LAME things Sprint did was take out the 3.5mm headset jack and put in a 2.5mm headset jack. I know this was to support headset/microphone use, but I really like my Sony 3.5mm headphones that I use at the gym.

Anyone know of an adapter that would work? I know radio shack has them but they are only 2 rings on the plug, where the 6601 accepts 3 rings on the plug. So basically anyone know if there are any 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapters that have 3 rings on the plug?
