Viewing Signal Strenght in db

On the Sanyo VM4500 5500, is it possible to see the signal stength on the main screen in db rather than lines? If so, how? If not, where can I see this information?

Thanks!

Doesn't anyone want to see the "actual" signal strength in db rather than via a graphical indicator?

you can't see it on your main screen but you can go into the debug screen or test mode to see it. i don't know how you do this on the sanyo, though, anyone else have one that can tell him?

Doesn't work on the VM4500 5000. For that phone you need to use ##040793, and then select the first and second option. Afterwards, every few seconds you will see the signal strength flash onto the screen in dBm.
