Daxian ???
Any new news at all on the Daxian? Seems like we get all kinds of rumors, etc. about the new Treo 650; but don't hardly hear a murmur about the Daxian. Do we even know for sure that Sprint will be releasing the Daxian? I keep reading reviews about it and see where AT&T is getting ready to release it, but I sure wish I could hear more about it being released by Sprint. It has been a toss-up between the Daxian and the Treo 650 until I read recently that the Treo's camera is not being upgraded to any degree; now I'm very interested in the Daxian.

Daxian CU928 or HTC Harrier PPC (HTC PH20A2) is supposed to be launched on October 20th per a Sprint Business Connection Rep I talked to. Treo about the same time frame I'm told.
I haven't seen any detailed photos yet. If someone can post a link to photo....that would be great. |

Its a very impressive device, if Sprint will let me do an esn swap without paying more for the pocket pc phone vission use, then I'll definetly do.
I already have the pcs vision pack, which I'm grandfathered into for $5 per month and unlimited text messaging. |

You can check out the user guide from the FCC site at this link:
https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/f...ive_or_pdf=pdf According to the specs, it is EV-DO compliant!! (once Sprint comes online!) It does list Bluetooth 1.1 as an included feature! |

Here are some links I've run across for the PPC 6600/6601. If you know of any others, please post them to this thread.
http://www.slashphone.com/71/467.html http://mobile-review.com/pda/review/...angel-en.shtml http://www.msmobiles.com/news.php/2934.html Plus there is a Message Board for the entire XDA line at - http://forum.xda-developers.com/index.php Does anyone have any idea what price range we're talking about for the camera and the non-camera versions? I'm afraid this is going to be a very expensive phone. |

They're probably going to be the same price. That's how it was with the Treo. You figure the components for the camera cost at most a penny or two
I'm guessing $649. |

I spoke with someone at Sprint that said it was being tested right now and might not be released for a couple of months. I hope that isn't true
