General Messaging question?
Ok, just got a new Sanyo 7300 last night and I am trying out vision and messaging. Came across this issue:
If another PCS user sends me a text message, I get it almost immediately. However, if I send myself a text message from off the PCS network, I do not get the message at all. For example, I used the "Text Messaging" link on this site to send myself a message and it hasn't arrived. Also tried sending myself a wallpaper from myphonefiles (which I believe sends a text message with a link to the image) and it hasn't arived either. Is there usually latency when receiving a message that originated from a non-PCS phone? Is there a setting I need to switch to allow message from outside the PCS network? Could it have anything to do with the fact I just got the service last night? Any help would be appreciated. |
