Unhappy AIM and MSN no longer on Vision?

Hey all,

I no longer have access to AIM and MSN though Vision. The only link I see under "Messengers" now is Yahoo! Messenger.

I also seem to have lost the link I had to my Vision mail (which did not work properly anyway).

Is anyone else having this problem, or can the rest of you still access AIM? Anyone know what might be going on?

If you do have a link to AIM, could you let me know what the WAP address is so I can connect directly?

Thanks!

I still have links to AIM, MSN Messenger, and PCS Mail on my Vision page.

I wonder if it's because my I get to Sprint PCS though Qwest? The Qwest rep I called didn't have access to AIM via Vision either. Very odd.

The other week Sprint changed a few things around that stopped the Focus uploader from working. It is possible that something like that is the case now. Hopefully for you Qwest will make the nessisary changes to add AIM back to your phone.

Mine also shows only Yahoo Messenger. I have been using a bookmarked direct link.

AOL is not in the Portals menu for me.

But anyway, why would AIM be under Portals > AOL and not under Messaging > Instant Messaing? That's just silly...

i has the same problem when switched phones to my new mm 7400 and i called data spport and they had no clue also on what was going on, but there was this one rep that restarted my vision fresh as if i just put it on for the first time and all the problems were fixed so i suggest you guys doing that if you want your links back but there is one problem if you have any emails you better back it up before doing this becase you will lose them all so hope this works for you because it did for me. your vision will still be the same they are just gonna do a restart that is all

These all seem to change from time to time on the vision menu/links. You can still access them though. All you have to do is manually enter the url, which are often long and complex i.e. the one posted in an earlier reply for AIM. MSN went away a long time ago for me but I have been able to access it via mobile.msn.com. I don't do MSN Messenger on there but I use it to access Hotmail every day. Always a good ideal to bookmark sites in your browser and/or write down the url somewhere.

I have all the IM options (Yahoo, MSN, AOL) under IM under the Messagings Link off my Vision homepage. I know there were a few updates done last week, including addition of a special 'dedicated' app for IM, so it may have temporarily played hide and seek on ya...
