Nokia 6225 contact images
I'm trying to get some pictures that i uploaded to my phone associated with people in my contacts list. The only images i know how to associate are those that came on the phone or stored in the camera section of My Pictures under the Pictures menu. Is there a way to get the new downloaded files stored in the download section to associate with a contact?
thanks |

Hey my friend, When your viewing your contacts, highlight the one you want to edit, and click on the left softkey (details). The number will show, then hit your left softkey again (options), and scroll to Add Image and hit the left softkey again (select). You will get a menu listing all the download folders. Scroll to the pictures folder for pictures you downloaded from vision. Remember your left softkey does all the changes. It's the select key. I hope this helped. Take care. |

Ok, i got there, but the place that the downloaded pictures are stored (screen savers folder) only shows the pictures that came on/with the phone. However, if I go straight to the downloads section (not through a contact), the downloaded pictures are in the list. That is what confused me becuase I can set those pics as the wallpaper. The pictures didn't come from vision, they were downloaded from another site. Do they have to be from Sprint maybe?
thanks for helping |

Sorry it took so long getting back to you. Yeah, the pictures in that folder come from your pictures account from Sprint. Hope I've helped some. |

I am having the same problem. If you look at the "details" for each image it shows what I believe to be some additional header information on each image file. The files from Sprint (like clouds.jpg) have some specific header attributes like "copyright" and things like that. I am wondering if we have to mimic those headers in our files to get the phone book to recognize them. I will play around with it and let you know if I can figure it out. -cm |
