I was wondering is there any way I can check my text messages on my pc using my regular browser or another wap device?

i have an 8200. i just received my bill and realized that if you dont use short mail you are limited to 100 messages a month. i dont even know how to use short mail, someone help me out.

You can't use shortmail if you have an SMS enabled phone. And don't worry, shortmail sucks compared to SMS anyway. It's worth paying the $5 extra to get unlimited sms if you like texting a lot.

Agreed 100%

Sprint only chargws $5 for unl...most carriers dont even OFFER unl, and charge $10 for 750 msgs.

I send/receive over 4000 a month...I'd be broke

You can use the link below to send Shortmail from your Vision browser or from your PC:

http://smwl.uc.sprintpcs.com/sml/login_x.do

Use your phone number and password just the same as you do when you log in to the sprint.com site.

Your incoming messages will still be delivered to your phone. The last time I used this system, it did not count against my 100 free messages. However, as we all know, things change in a blink, so use with caution or at least test it before mass use...

I'm also not sure if it works with all PC browsers. I use Safari on my Mac and it works flawless.
