Upload pics and Sounds with SMS only?

Is there a way to upload my own picture files or sound files with SMS service only? I was looking at the plans available and SMS is $5 a month, but to have the premium package for sounds, images, and SMS is $15 a month.

Sounds and pics are fun to play with, but $15 a month hurts me. I am not a rich guy. Just adding a second phome so me and my wife can keep in touch better hurt me, though it is worth having. SMS is not worth paying $5 just for messaging, and sounds and pics arent worth $15 (to my budget anyway)

Anyway if anyone knows of a way let me know, or if I am looking at the wrong plan let me know. I was initially under the impression that web was only $5 a month, it will take a lot for me to do it for $15. Maybe I will keep it for a month and then turn it off for three in a cycle... I dunno.

thanks.

Can you say "NNNNeeewwwbbbeeee"

Simple plan simple choices and anyone with a cell phone sits in your shoes too...

None of us are RICH.... and we all want to stay in touch!

SMS is messaging between phones

Picture mail is for going bewteen a phone and a computer or another phone.

Good Luck.....

It's not really a newb question if you understand what he is asking. He means uploading images, ringers for free using the messaging and the link attachment, such as the focus uploader, it sends a text message to the phone with a link to the file.

As to the answer to the question, you will have to pay the bandwidth charge of .01 per kilobyte. There

Thanks for the info! A one cent charge per KB doesnt sound bad at all. I think I will go the SMS for $5 a month and just take a .01 charge per KB.

For $22.49 you can buy the USB data cable for the A660, and then use freely available software (BitPim) to upload everything to your phone. You can get BitPim here
http://bitpim.sf.net and I've posted instructions for using it with the A660 here http://home.comcast.net/~jna03/a660/.
