VM4500 review

After owning the vm4500 for awhile I have the following review:

Pros:
-The manual is sufficient. It does explain things better than some manuals. It is not outstanding but it is acceptable.
-The speakerphone is good, not great but good. It has some distortion but I can easily understand the caller.
-Most of my calls sound real clear. I have never dropped a call inside my very low signal home. The vm4500 excells in that area.
-The speakerphone works while the phone is open or closed. I like the mute feature also.
-It has call screening but I haven't used it. I put it in the pro's only because it is available.
-I am able to lock out the side keys. This is very important to me.
-The inside and outside screens are of the same quality. They are good but not great.
-I like the security features. I won't go into that too much. I just like the 'call-in' phone reset, the selective lockouts, and ability to hide numbers.
-I do like the blue casing as well. It doesn't show the scratches. The extended battery does however.
-Pictures can be taken of other people while the phone is closed. My family often runs or covers up when I get ready to take their picture. The phone closed feature really solves that problem.

Cons:

-The camera lens is in a poor location. I keep getting my hand in front of it.
-The video recorder is barely on the 'usable' scale.
-I don't use the RL and I don't want it. That is why I placed it in the con's section.
-The battery life is not great. It is just like any other phone I have owned (except Nokia's). I have to charge it every two days when I don't use vision. I might need to charge it every day with vision. Note: this is with the standard battery not the extended one. I guess I expect too much from a battery.
