BMW bluetooth connectivity

My Sprint Galaxy S4 will not see my BMW bluetooth signal. Other phones see the signal and my phone sees other devices when in range. I have cleared the Phone bluetooth cache and restarted the phone several times.

Any thoughts on why my car is invisible to my phone.

Both BMW and Samsung techs point to the other. Frustrating

Thanks

Only thing I can suggest is hard reset.
Then looking into rooting and installing a custom rom that recognizes car.
Or get a new phone.

Rooting grants you Admin Level rights to your phone software. You can wipe out the entire system and install new software or a new system etc. It's not that hard, but if you don't know what you're doing you can trash your phone. All my Androids were always rooted. Read up at XDA forums and you can learn a lot. Or try the reset as stated above and cross your fingers.
