Dying Forum?

I slowly see this forum dying and I enjoy visiting here to find out what's going on with SERO accounts. Any idea why the decrease in user posts?

Times are changing is the main reason for SU's decline as members are jumping off the Sprint "Titanic".

Sprint isn't as popular now as it was in the past hence SU is feeling the effects.

And add to the fact many members are getting older, wiser, and may have lifestyles that have changed since joining SU and Sprint.

Unfortunately, SU will succumb to the same fate my old message board went thru which was a slow extinction.

Lastly, it isn't just SU that is suffering but other boards as well. Kinda like a domino effect going on here.

I don't think it's so much that people are leaving Sprint as you can get more information from the Android boards like Android Central and XDA, same for the iOS boards. I know I spend more time at those places.

Social media and the shift to operating system specific forums has a lot to do with it. People are also getting more of their information off of blogs.

The site simply refuses to evolve with the times. Android and Apple os use should be where the site was structured to, not "Sprintusers." Because of its refusal to adapt it will follow the path of the dinosaurs, extinction.

What's funny is that I'm a marketing consultant. People hire/pay me to promote their business but everything we suggested was met with firm resistance. This site had the members to make this a premier site for ALL the carriers, manufacturers, and OS platforms. The insistence of keeping the name SprintUsers was a huge mistake. When companies/websites refuse to adapt to the market they're doomed to fail and that's exactly what happened here. If this places goes offline tomorrow it will be a bit sad because we used to have so much fun here, but it will be at the hands of the site owners. Even Lee is partially to blame. He took his money and ran.

Sad to hear this fact.

I was willing to purchase SU back before Lee put in his bid, but no one took it seriously tho. I wanted to make SU into something long lasting and a great place to be. Now, I don't have the cash to buy SU and for what I see of things now. I won't pay more than $1000 for the forum even if I had an extra $1000 laying around. SU has been so diminished from its original beginnings that I would need a miracle from heaven to make this place vibrant again.

Not even that would help SU right now.

I just jumped back here to see any news about Galaxy S6 and was wondering the same thing. Sorry to see it go this way.
