Question 64gb MicroSD Card ??

1. 64gb Micro SD?? $13
2. 64gb Micro SD $12.18

Free Shipping??? Shipping from HK alone would cost at least $7+

Can anyone tell me if this is too good to be true, meaning that it's bogus?? Or is this really a good deal? Obviously $13 for an actual 64gb card Class 10 as well is a steal. Or is this more of a steal of my pocketbook??

I don't understand part of this. $13 for a 64gb micro??? Common. Doesn't make sense. I read the sub title and then the detailed description and am a little confused. So I'm not sure.

They sell in bulk as well. However, even though the pricing seems balk pricing, they are selling just 1 piece.

Perhaps someone could someone shed a little light on this on what the real deal is.

most likely knockoffs that either a) arent the true capacity advertised or b) will be prone to early failure or c) both

Edit: upon viewing the pages for sure knockoffs, and the feedback pages turn up 404 errors which is alarming.

Does anyone know of a decent place to get a good 64gb MicroSD card for a good price? Or even cheap?

Best deal I can find is http://www.amazon.com/Sony-microSDXC...=64gb+micro+sd

everything else is poor quality or knockoffs.

Yeah, those are definitely knockoffs. They may or may not be the size advertised, and they definitely won't be the speed advertised.

You can keep an eye on SlickDeals for good deals on memory cards (and anything, really). I've seen 64GBs for around $30 from time to time, but the better brands will be a bit more.

That actually seems like a really good deal. And it appears as though it's coming right from SanDisk. Curiosity, which is a better class, class 1 or class 10?

I thought the higher the class the better the card. However, I might be wrong. Because there are some measurements with certain things that the lower the number the better the quality or the better of anything in general with it. Example being with electrical wiring. The lower the gauge the thicker the wire.

Does anybody know if this much memory is compatible or accepted buy the Galaxy phones? Or more specifically, the note 3? Please see the following link from Amazon .

to answer both your questions

1) higher the class higher the speed the card can read and write

2) Yes the note 3 can use that card but if you are rooted and do anything with custom recoveries the custom recoveries cannot yet handle the exfat filesystem that larger sd cards use.

I think what may be confusing you about the class numbers is that they've recently started using some extra grades, like UHS-1. We've all been trained to know that Class 1 is bad and Class 10 is good. UHS-1 has the same minimum speed rating as Class 10, but the bus is different, so I suppose that's why they didn't just go to Class 11. For all intents and purposes, in modern devices, there's really no difference between a Class 10 and a UHS-1. UHS-2 and above are faster, more expensive cards, and probably completely unnecessary in phones at this point. They're used more in cameras, where transferring large files at high speeds is critical.

If you use one in a camera, and you get "corrupt files", are those pictures lost?

If it's name brand if you contact the manufacturer they usually offer a recovery utility to try and save your files.

Thanks! It's a samsung 64 micro (sdHc I think) There are pictures and a short movie that I reeeeallllly need to save. I hope it's possible. Are there places that would know how to do this better, where I could pay to save them? Only a couple pics will show now. I used a different camera for the first time, at a very important event. ugh.......

Contact Samsung support their utility if they have it would be your best bet and free most likely
