Root apps

What are some apps that require Root that you use on a regular basis?

For me its Root Explorer for obvious reason, and FauxClock which gives major control over my custom kernel which is really the only true reason I rooted so I could have fast(er) charging and better battery life and IO control.

Root Explorer - the original must have Root app...so much it can do for you.
GMD Gesture Control - if you love gestures, then this is the app for you. Customizations are virtually endless. Also has other cool features like swipepads.
Xposed along with Gravity Box - if you like custom ROMs and a lot of the features they have, but would prefer to stay stock Rooted...this gives you so many features you won't need a custom ROM!

Works best on stock based ROMs. Not so much on ROMs like CM11. Xposed is just the framework mod allowing other changes through other apps. The amount of customization available in Gravity Box is pretty crazy.

SuperSu? Root checker. lol Well not everyday but a kitkat Rom I use had some issues so had to flash SU to get root access back. I don't think I use many but can't think of the few that I use sometimes.

AdAway & Titanium Backup, both for obvious reasons. AdAway usually gets a daily update of new ads & ad servers & Titanium Backup, well, it's great for uninstalling bloatware & backing up your device & some irreplaceable app data if all goes wrong....which it has before!

I used to always have Titanium Backup installed too but haven't messed with it on my X since I'm not flashing ROMs. Great app though!

I used to be same way for years. Kind of just outgrown it I guess. Plus Android has improved a lot not requiring custom ROMs as much as it used to.

I love Titanium Backup I use a mix of it and root toolbox to manage various functions as part of my initial setup.

Adblock is nice, but can prevent some apps from running properly.

My must have Root app is Avast!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...mobilesecurity

The firewall on it rocks. You can block any app you want from accessing the internet. So games can not download the advertisements. Or other apps that do not need internet to do their job, but have weird permissions that may scare you do not have the option to do anything with the data outside your phone. You set the permission on a per app basis. You can also pick how to block the app. No internet via wireless data to save your monthly limit from data hogs. Or you can block an app from just WiFi.

I am talking about rooting not flashing a whole bunch of ROMs. I just like to root and find a rom stable enough to use for a long time
