Use "1234". I just got off the phone with sprint cust. svc, and that is what they gave me, after 3 times of dealing with different reps/techs. First 3 reps were total idiots. They kept thinking it was to allow international gsm use, but I kept telling them it is the extra security measure of all phones to have a sim lock pin.

I was down to my last attempt and used it and now have my sim lock on with my own pin#.

Does Sprint not provide you with this information on their website? Like your own individual SIM pin and PUK unlock code just in case you get locked out from too many attempts. If not then that is a negative as some carriers provide this info online for quick and easy access.

Nope!

Sprint being a CDMA carrier has never in the past had to deal with SIM cards (chips) A new concept for them and it shows!

Ps. 1234 works!!! Yea!
