I have a Samsung Galaxy SII and plan on getting the iPhone5. How can I move over my contacts? Anyone have suggestions?

Send a message via AIM to flipn0tic
If your GSII's contacts are synced through your gmail account, I believe there is a really simple setting on iOS that will allow you to enter your gmail info and sync your contacts.

If you are using gmail, you can sync directly when you set up your gmail account on your iPhone. If you want to set up contacts and calendar syncing then you have to look on line on how to set up via Microsoft exchange and m.google.com. Your gmail account setting must be set for imap.

If you want to use apple for syncing...then export google contacts to your desktop computer. Set up an iCloud account through Apple. Go to iCloud.com and sign in and the import the file into iCloud. Now your contacts will sync via Apple.

This may sound complicated but actually the process can be accomplished in less than ten minutes.

I know that most Android phones are equipped with G-mail and Gmail is really user-friendly tool to transfer contacts from Android to iPhone. Go to Menu > Settings>Accounts & Sync>Google account>Sync Contacts in this way, all android contacts should sync to Google account (make sure that there are no contacts on google account before) And then do the same thing on iPhone Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Add Account>Other>Add CardDav Account Type “google.com” as the server. (without quotes) Enter your Google username and passwords Now, your contacts should sync to iPhone

Google is universally useful. Almost every kind of phone syncs with their contacts, mail and calendars.
But if you think the way above is too complicated, maybe you can try some transfer tools like Mobile Transfer.
With the help of this program, what you need to do just connect both of your phone to the PC and then transfer all you contacts and pictures just by a click.
I think it is the most convenient way to Transfer Contacts from Samsung to iPhone.

Phone Transfer is a better option. It can fast and easily transfer contacts from Samsung Galaxy to iPhone. You need not to know to CSV and vCard formats and how difference between them. Just one click to move contacts from your old phone to new phone. Get it on internet.
