Bad ESN Fix?

i was wondering if there anyway of getting a phone that has a bad ESN to activate on my account?

i can understand if the phone was reported lost/stolen and the ESN cant be release because of the insurance but if the ESN is being held because of a unpaid balance cant this be some how removed from the bad ESN list?

Yep. If the account balance is paid, Sprint will release the ESN.

Until its paid, that phone is a fancy paperweight as far as activating it on Sprint goes.

Seems the company can no longer clean ESN's for Sprint. (Sprint found out what he was doing!)

Time apparently "heals" bad esn's due to unpaid balances. It may be 6 months before the esn is cleared, but it seems once the account is sent to outside collections they release the esn's again.

When I bought my Replenish off of eBay that was advertized as "Good ESN" Sprint would not activate it because of an unpaid balance. The Sprint CSR said the ESN had been "bad for months. Well in to last year." That sounded like more than six months to me.

I'd like the PM as well. I have checked out a website that charges to clean ESN's but it's awfully damn expensive..would like an alternative.

I'd like that PM for education purposes I don't have the need at the moment but you never know. I think I have an idea.
