Question How to Disable Call Waiting permanently?

My friend has a Sprint Android phone and would like Caller ID permanently disabled. You used to be able to call and request this and it was done without an issue. He contacted Sprint and was told they can't do this.

What is the real answer? Does he have to word his question differently?

I should have also noted said that *70 is temp stopping call waiting on my phone without an issue in WI. He said *70 was not temp stopping it for him in FL.

I'm checking to see if he's alright with me giving you his number. Are you just going to check on it first?

Call waiting can be disabled permanently in the account. I have had this done to may parents' phones in the past. That way, when they are on the phone, they don't get that annoying beeping that they don't know what to do with and the caller gets a busy signal.

The OP mentions 2 different services, Call Waiting and Caller ID. Which one is it that they are asking about?

I took care of it for the OP. It actually goes to VM if he is on the line. You could set it to get a busy if you wanted, however.

How to disable call waiting iphone

Call sprint. Ask them to disable, which they can do using the EMS tool.
