Sprint's Bloatware on the i4s

Wonder if we'll be able to remove what we don't want/use or need from the preinstalled software on the iphone.

Anyone that's owned an iphone before, how would I manage the software/apps pre loaded from Sprint (if there is any) that I am not interested in?

Verizon iPhone will NOT have typical Verizon Bloatware

If Sprint does too I will be surprised.

I hope it doesnt...but then again what I consider bloatware someone else might not.

Since I've had the evo only ever used google maps for navigation as i feel it trumps sprint's navigation...

but....sprint's navigation is very good and I dont remember iphone having voice navigation (never owned one only seen friends phones)

so that is one app I think someone said would be on there but other than that and maybe sprint tv (which doesnt have much content) I hope there isnt anything else or the ability to remove.

I highly doubt there will be any bloatware on the iphone.

iPhone has voice navigation, both free and paid. In regards to bloat-ware, that is something Apple didn't allow AT&T or Verizon to add to the iPhone (one of the main reasons Verizon initially didn't want the iPhone), so I doubt they'll allow Sprint to have any.

There are 2 phone OSes that don't allow Bloatware, 1 is IOS and the other is WP7. If something is on there that you don't won't, uninstall it.

You can't uninstall apps that come with the phone (such as the weather, stocks, etc..).

And I don't think Apple allows them to put anything on there.

Like everybody else said, I doubt there will be any Sprint apps on the iPhone. As far as I know, there were no carrier apps allowed on the Verizon one, and I don't think they've ever been allowed on the AT&T ones, either.

Apple does not allow any carriers to pre-install software.

However, Apple might add a Sprint app (Like at&t & Verizon) which allows you to manage your account and pay your bill.

To be more accurate, Apple will allow Sprint to upload bloatware and account management apps to the AppStore, similar to AT&T and Verizon.

There won't be any, there never has since the first iPhone, and there never will. Apple is a purest when it comes to their experience. It's their phone, their OS, their hardware, and that's that..

There won't be any carrier loaded apps. I can guarantee you that. Every iPhone loading up looks exactly like it does on the box/picture, that's just how it is.

Edit:

Oh yeah, and with that being said... Welcome to Apple.
