Cracked my screen question

Hey guys im new to this site. I just got the evo 3d a few days after it came out and last night i dropped it and cracked the screen. I do have the insurance but i cant really afford to drop 100 for the deductible after just paying over 200 for the phone. Is there anything i can say to sprint for them to swap it out for free?

Insurance is the way you will have to go my friend....I am 99.8% sure that Sprint wont hand you a new phone because you dropped yours.

Best bet is going to be to file a claim. It's worth a shot to take into a corp store and show it to them. Tell them what happened. Depending on their mood etc you may luck out and get it repaired or replaced. It all depends. Don't go in there and pretend that you have no idea how it happened. They are less likely to assist you then. Worst thing they can tell you is we can't help you and assist you with the claim process.

Pay with a credit card? Most top tier cards provide 90 day accidental coverage so if you break your phone they will cover it.

Get one of this cracked screen wallpapers. Then it won't be so noticeable.

If he can't afford to pay the deductible, then he couldn't afford to buy a case either. Why buy a $200 phone anyway?

Ouch, first person to crack their EVO 3D screen?

Like others have noted, getting it replaced for free will probably depend on luck.

Reportedly, some Sprint repair stores can and will replace screens in-store.

In particular, an independently owned Sprint repair store that knows how to do its own repairs may be more lenient than a Sprint-owned repair store.
