Still using ptt?

I keep a ptt phone and plan on doing so in the future but the options are limited. Got a V950 and was thinking about goin' straight IDEN but the problems I had when I got the phone are all gone leaving hope for more improvement. I use my ptt a bit, not as much as calls or messaging but enough, who out there still uses it?

I switched to Tikl, the PT phone options were horrid..

We might go back after the new options are available in QT4 but for now Tikl is fine.

SouthernLINC and Sprint/Nextel sign iDEN roaming Agreement

Finally, you can take advantage of SouthernLINCS highly built-out southern US footprint.

I haven't even seen anybody in my area using it anymore. It used to everywhere but now I can't recall the last time I saw someone using DC.

I use it at work. We have about 40 users, all with iDen/Nextel phones. I would love to get something else as Nextel support is near zero.

Anyone out there use the Sprint CDMA PTT?

the sine qua non of these Qchat phones is a SOLID 3G signal with adequate bandwidth. Given the recent reports of mediocre 3G Sprint performance in many areas of the country (including mine), I remain skeptical just how well these new Qchat II phones will perform on a national basis as a replacement for nation-wide iDEN. But if this gives Sprint added incentive to fix and bolster its 3G performance, then I'm certainly all for it... However Sprint had better insure its 3G performance nationwide FIRST, before debuting these Qchat II phones. Otherwise bad early reviews will sink the whole effort...

I see them releaseing them only in the markets where network vision has occurred.

Apparently the new qchat phones will also run on 1rtt as well.. I will have to dig up the link for that..
