1800 mah vs 1500 mah

The default, OEM, or standard battery is 1500 I believe, and I recently purchased these 2 Chinese Generic batteries and a charger for the EVO, and I'm shocked as to how much of a difference the 1800 gives me compared to the 1500. Like I go through my day (Which starts at 7-8 am) everyday with a workout where I use my Phone as my Media Device as I listen to ESPN radio or some music. But long story short, by 7-8 PM my phone is usually dead, but since moving to the 1800 my phone is fine for a whole day.

All I'm saying here is if you're having problems with your batt.. Try moving to an 1800, it's totally worth it, and I'm opted to say that you get around 3 hours+ and for people like myself that 2-3 added hours is JUst enough.

It's probably because the battery is new. Chinese batteries never have the power they rate them at. Your's probably has 1400-1500. I bought the 3000mah one and it didnt come close to doubling the power of the phone. Maybe a couple extra hours at most.

All in your head.

Those aren't 1800mah, especially if you bought them off of Ebay.

Not true in my experience. I have owned the 1800 battery from the usa seller on ebay for approximately 2.5 months ...and it does last longer than my stock battery...but based on the rating 1500 vs 1800 is is very minimal

There are threads on xda and androidforums raving about the batteries too.

I have 4 of those batteries that come with a charger. I go the entire day without charging. Around 9 or 10PM when it does die (most of the time it'll last thru the night) I just pop in a new one and charge.

The factory RED battery does last a little less in my opinion, yet it's still in rotation.

Think of it this way...it definately last as long as the stock, so for the pricing it can be used as a spare.

I just picked up the 2600mah battery from my local sprint store and it is pretty awesome! It lasted 37 hours on the first charge and that is with Cell Standby being without a signal 41% of the time; you have to love working in a basement!

Are you talking about the Galilio batteries? Or mugen?

I knew they lasted a tad bit longer, I paid around 35 dollars for 2 of these batteries on Ebay along with the charger. Considering I got my rotation going and I'm able to use my phone more, and have less of a hassle with my phone charging overall, it's well worth the price. Of course everyone uses their phone's differently but I'm seeing some advantages of this batt, and I'm glad some users here as well. I was just posting my findings, I don't believe these to be Mugen.
