How do I receive the $50 Visa gift card for upgrading
I received a text message a week or so ago from Sprint saying that if I upgraded my phone online, I would receive a $50 Visa gift card. Well I went through with the upgrade, and before finalizing the purchase I chatted a representative asking how I would receive the gift card. He gave me a number to call (1-800-522-7458) which seems to belong to the Citi Prepaid service. It asks if you have a lost or stolen card, nothing about receiving one (closest option is "not received your card yet?).
Does anyone have any idea how I am supposed to receive this gift card? |

Try dialing zero and speaking to a representative. If that doesn't work call Sprint back and complain. Also, be sure you keep that text message as proof.

Well the text message is on my old phone, which I still have. I just hope I have the text saved....If I do, I'll forward it to my new phone and lock it.
So Sprint would be the people to contact here, not Citi/Visa, correct? |

I thought the rebate came in the form of a gift card. Sending in the rebate form gets the process rolling.
Here' the site for tracking your rebate: https://www.sprintrebates.com/track/sprintpcs/index.jsp There used to be a referral program as well, but that ended back in January. Here's the old site for referrals: http://www.sprint.com/landings/refrewards/

It wasn't a rebate, it was supposed to just be a gift card sent with the upgraded phone.
I contacted support by chat today, the representative said this offer ended January of this year, even though on the text it said it expired 8/14/2010.... He placed a $50 credit on my account though, so issue is solved
