How can I delete all of my gmail contacts?
So I got my new Evo today (I exchanged it because my 1st one had a screen defect) Anyways, I asked the girl at Besy Buy to transfer my contacts to my new phone, which she did, but now EVERY single person I have ever emailed is in my contacts, so now I have over 1100 contacts in my phone. How do I get rid of them all??

I don't have an EVO yet, but on my blackberry tour, i have google sync installed. There is a known issue where contacts multiple and every so often I log into the web portal for gmail and delete contacts in mass quantity. Since this is a google os phone, i'd assume there is some built in OTA syncing for Gmail.

I am a little confused as to your request. Are all these showing up as regular contacts in gmail or are you showing the auto contacts from gmail. The ones it keeps when you email someone?
You can turn off "show gmail auto contacts". This should only leave those who are actually true contacts in gmail. Go to the contacts and press the menu button and choose view. You can uncheck the contact source you do not want to see. Won't delete them though.
