Bright white spot on my screen!

When ever I am on a white background, for example if I pull down my notifications screen, there is a bright spot...it's only bright when the background is white, but it bugs the crap out of me...anyone else experiencing this?

No offense or anything, but even if you did have this issue, taking a screenshot would do nothing for you unless it was software related. Most likely it's some sort of hardware issue.

No offense taken and I am aware that a screen shot isnt going to hardware issue, I was being facetious

So no one else is getting a bright spot on their screen? It's not really a big deal, I'm just finicky about small stuff like this. Would Best Buy let me exchange it for this reason?

Same problem here, can only see it on white background. It is located right where the b is when the keyboard is open. Is yours in the same spot?

Yep!! Exactly where the B is, and can only be seen on white backgrounds, or very light-colored backgrounds

It looks like some kind of reflection of the backlight. Very annoying after you notice it.

Gents, I get the same bright spots on my screen also when there's a white background. Looks like hot spots where the light is exceedingly brighter. Although it's not a big issue, it too drives me crazy... Thinking about going down to Sprint and trying to get an exchange before the 30 day window for returns is up...

I have the same spot in the same location (by the "B" on the standard keyboard)

I only started noticing it more and more lately but only when viewing a white background.

ugh i dont know if i want to hassle with taking it back to RS.

Saw the same BS years ago on my Mogul. Saw the same forum posts about it too. Some took theirs back but I didn't. My phone is still rockin' but it's not to say that I shouldn't have stuck it up someone's arse for most of the face buttons not working. Having issues with the light on the screen sounds like a HTC issue to me. Could be wrong but then I tend to KISS.

Two more of my co-workers have the same issue. They're calling it the "B Spot" lol. Doesn't bother me enough to return it.

I thought I had the same thing until I noticed it was my own reflection.
