Back in 2001 I was working for Cox Communications and signed up for a sprint plan through them that got me a 25% discount. One of the "perks" at the time is that I could also sign up friends & family members through my rep and they too would receive the same discount.

I left Cox a number of years ago, but my 25% discount has been grandfathered in along with my parents and a couple of friends.

I have a co-worker who is interested in switching to sprint. Would my "friends" still be able to get that discount? Cox is no longer a user of sprint and I no longer have my representative information.

No they wouldn't. And I am not trying to be mean, but listen to what you just said................... That just sounds silly, I mean why would someone you get to sign up or that already has sprint, get a discount from a company that you no longer work for or that they don't work for either?????
